Government pressured to release insulation inspection results

The Federal Government is under pressure to release the results of 61,000 safety inspections of homes insulated under the now scrapped rebate scheme.

Fire incidents linked to the home insulation program

As at 15 June 2010, 174 fire incidents (includes fires and smouldering) have been linked to insulation installed under now discontinued Home Insulation Program.
